Poverty Incidence

In the face of economic growth and development in Cotabato, the Municipality of Kabacan still deals with many challenges in reducing poverty among the population. However, although Poverty Incidence is within acceptable level but unfortunately the level of income per capita is low.

Structures, Infrastructures including Facilities for Children

The Municipal Government of Kabacan has ensured that programs and basic services of the Municipal Government are all responsive to the needs of the children. These basic services especially on the structures, infrastructures and facilties are all geared at achieving the goals for the promotion and protection of the rights and welfare of the children.

For education, Kabacan has 48 Day Care Centers, 29 Madrasah Schools, 7 primary schools, 24 public elementary and nine (9) private grade schools. There are also 10 public high schools and 5 private institutions and a state Universities, the University of Southern Mindanao.
