The 2007 Census of Population indicates that the total population of Kabacan is 73,991 persons who are diverse in culture and ethnic origin. The 2007 population of Kabacan is distributed to 24 barangays excluding Barangay Poblacion which is the central business district of the municipality while the top five in terms of population concentration are the following barangays Kayaga with a population of 8,451, Katidtuan is 4,439, Kilagaasan has a population of 3,364, Osias has 3,322 and Aringay has a population of 3,149. Barangays Sanggadong, Buluan and Salapungan have the lowest number of population with 585, 909 and 999 respectively. A growth rate of 2.43 percent is attained from 2000-2007 which is higher compared to 1995 to 2000 growth rate of .18%. The number of households is 15,859 which resulted to an average household size of 4.6.

The average population density of the municipality is 1.65 persons per hectare. Poblacion has a population density of 10.80 people per hectare. Forty six percent (46%) of the population can be found in the urban area, the Poblacion, and the adjoining barangays of Osias, Katidtuan on the Eastern part of Poblacion and barangay Kayaga on the West.
Average Family Income and Expenditure
The income per capita is low which means that for every person in the municipality a minimal income of P20, 000.00 to P34, 000.00 in which it did not reach the bench mark of P35, 000.00 per month. Per capita expenditure for every year is P1, 342.49, much lower than the average per capita expenditures of both LGU in the same type income class and national average of the same LGU. There is a need to improve the revenue generation to compensate with the increasing population of the municipality and to uphold the living condition of every household.
Maternal Mortality Rate
Based on the 2009 General Health Situation Report of the Municipal Health Office, the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Kabacan is 0.4 per 1, 000 live births. In 2010, MMR rose to 2 per 1, 000 live births. In 2011, there was 0.78 per 1, 000 live births
Maternal Morbidity Rate
In 2009, 2010 and 2011, there were no maternal morbidity caes as per record of the Municipal Heath Office.
PHILHEALTH Enrolment
For year 2009, LGU-Kabacan supported the Philhealth Para sa Masa Program and sponsored 2, 447 families. In 2010, LGU enrolled 4, 894 indigents from its 24 barangays. In 2011, there were 2, 447 indigent families enrolled.
Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (CPR)
In 2009, the Municipal Health Office reported a Contraceptive Prevalence Rate of 34.37%. This increased to 67% in 2010. In 2011, the CPR was at 58.37%
